A few weeks a go, I finally passed the 12-week threshold of being on the tretinoin treatment. After 12 weeks of use, I was supposed to see major improvement in my skin, but I’m still experiencing some crazy dryness.
Some time a go I picked up this No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm at Target to help treat the dryness. This cleansing balm is meant for use on Dry to Very Dry skin. I apply this on my dry skin, massage it in using my fingers and gently wipe off with a washcloth. Every single time I use this balm, I find it so difficult not to touch my face. My skin is so dry at the moment, almost to the point it hurts; the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm leaves it feeling soft, cleansed, moisturized and supple. After using this, I don’t even feel the need to apply any moisturizers or oils on my skin- it’s definitely one of these awesome skincare products that gives instant results. While it moisturizes and nourishes the skin, at the same time it does not leave any thick or greasy residue. I also love the packaging, the delicate scent and the price- at $9.99 I think it’s very fair both for the amount you get and the quality and effectiveness of the product.
Avocado is another must-have for healthy and supple skin :)
I think that even despite the fact that this didn’t end up being as thick and “balmy” as I thought, it’s still an amazing product that I’m planning on keeping in my routine. The only thing I do have to mention is the fact that this isn’t great at removing makeup. Despite of saying that it dissolves and melts makeup away, I don’t think that this balm is very good at doing that. It may be ok at removing foundation, but it’s hopeless when it comes to mascara. After cleansing my skin, I still had to go over my eyes with an oil-based makeup remover. In all honesty though, I really don’t mind this at all, that’s how much I love this stuff.
If any of you have dry skin, you need to give this balm a try!

June 2, 2015 at 11:26 amI think they also have a gel version of this that would be more suitable for oily skin :) My skin is usually extremely oily, it’s just going through a little dry period at the moment ;)

June 2, 2015 at 5:20 pmDo you know how this balm compares to the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm? It looks really interesting, and there definitely aren’t many drugstore balms like this on the market.

June 3, 2015 at 6:50 pmThis looks utterly amaziiiiing Paula! Although do we expect any less from No7? Hehe ;) :D
I’m so happy you found this saviour for your skin love, although equally as sorry you’ve experienced such a tough time with dryness :( If I remember correctly you bought some No7 products before from Target that weren’t that great at all due to quality issues. I’m so glad you had a positive experience this time! And that avocado looks so gorgeous, really need to try using it as a DIY mask someday. <3
p.s totally made up re your IG comment that you think of me whenever you walk past a No7 aisle, although realise how very sad this makes me sound heheh :P :D :D
