Bottega Veneta Knot Eau de Parfum

Bottega Veneta Knot

Knot is a new fragrance by Bottega Veneta that launched just last month. I absolutely love first Bottega Veneta Fragrance for women- an award winning “Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum“- so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I fell in love with “Knot”, the second I tried it.

As you guys may have already noticed, I’m not a fan of “mainstream”, overly sweet fragrances. I love scents that are unique, sophisticated, and a bit “grown-up”, maybe even mature (almost grandma-ish -for the lack of a better term- but not quite). Bottega Veneta Knot Eau de Parfum is a bright and floral fragrance with sparkling top, citrus notes of mandarin, orange blossom and neroli, mid notes of lavender, white rose and peony and base notes of tonka bean, musk and cedar wood.

It’s definitely one of those fragrances that opens up very strong and sharp and then proceeds to slowly fade into a delicate and subtle scent that’s very easy to wear. The combination of effervescent citrus notes of neroli and orange blossom and sumptuous, musky base of wood make it a very luxurious scent that is ideal for cool, Autumn/Winter weather. I really don’t see myself wearing this during Spring or Summer, which, of course is perfect since we just welcomed Autumn few weeks a go.

Bottega Veneta Knot Eau de Parfum review

I don’t think I need to mention how beautiful this golden bottle is! The signature knot cap was inspired by iconic Bottega Veneta Knot clutch and is homage to same.

Bottega Veneta Knot Eau de Parfum is a classy, elegant scent, but one with bright and modern vibes. It will definitely add a beautiful touch to my existing perfume collection. I already see this being an A/W favorite for me.

What scents do you guys prefer for this time of the year?

Everything about this is truly gorgeous Paula! I love that you don’t go for the cliché perfumes so many others do (let’s face it, those few mainstream perfumes that are so over-hyped by bloggers get boring and that’s just by looking at the box they brandish about!) This on the other hand oozes so much class and style, and I can’t imagine the bottle looking anything but divine on your dresser ;) It really screams “you” and how could it not with those elegant and classy vibes going awn? :P :)

I love anything by Ghost. Usually I prefer floral fragrances so for summer, Ghost’s “Enchanted Bloom” is my saviour (and it reminds me of the first time I went to NY hehe) but “Deep Night”, “Anticipation” and “Eclipse” are light yet magical and musky enough to carry into a wintery scent. <3

Ahahah yes, whenever I see some of my favorite bloggers post about the same perfume, I always get tempted to buy them, but they’re usually a bit too sweet for my liking.

Don’t you love it when certain fragrances remind you of those special moments, ahh I love it! ;)

I’ve never been a fan of standard perfums either, I always thought sweet perfumes were too girly and I have never been a girly girl. So anything with a citrus vibe is definitely for me – something a little bit sharp. If I could get the smell of gin and tonic in a perfume it would be perfect.

It sounds like a goreous perfume and I always love your reviews as you just say how it is, without being too over-the-top and false. I’m definitely goin to seek it out for a smell when Im in town next :)

Me neither! To this day I don’t like wearing skirts and dresses, but sometimes I just force myself and it always feels nice to get all dolled up once in a while :)

      Thanks so much Gems! <3
