Pixi Skincare products have definitely become some of my favorites over last couple of months.
A while a go, I finally got my hands on their Glow Tonic and I still can’t stop using their Glowtion which is all kinds of awesome (and every glow-getter’s must-have). Today, as promised in one of my previous posts, I’ll share my thoughts on their Hydrating Milky Serum and the H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel. Spoiler alert: I’m loving both of these.
What I love:
-this serum has an incredible texture- it’s smooth and silky and leaves skin feeling nourished and soft
-brings instant relief to dehydrated skin
-non-sticky formula that absorbs quickly
-hydrating
-non-irritating
-works great under moisturizers
What I don’t love:
– I already mentioned this on my Instagram: the only problem I have with this serum is the packaging. While I love the idea behind the packaging, the dispenser isn’t ideal and tends to spill product. It’s almost as if the dispenser is a bit too thick to fit in the bottle. This makes using the product a little tricky, but it’s not something that would stop me from using this serum.
-it’s does contain fragrance, but it’s very delicate and I didn’t notice it cause any irritation
Pixi H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel
What I love:
-the gel formula is pretty cool and unique
-absorbs quickly with a slight cooling sensation
-it’s lightweight and feels very refreshing on skin- I have a feeling I’m really going to love using this during hot summer days
-brings instant moisture to skin and leaves it feeling incredibly smooth and soft
-instant relief for dry skin
-works amazing under makeup- I really like using this after my BP treatment because it doesn’t burn my skin like a lot moisturizers tend to do right after BP application
-the packing is genius- a tube with a pump- what’s not to love?
What I don’t love:
-Being picky here, but this gel does have a delicate fragrance, so if you have sensitive skin, beware, although the amount of fragrance is really small compared to other skincare products I’ve used.
Left: Pixi H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel, Right: Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum.
I’m totally in love with both of these, but if you were to try only one out of the two, I’d definitely go with the H2O Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel, just because I don’t ever remember using a similar product that my skin would like as much as this one. I really want to try a tinted version next!

April 30, 2016 at 9:54 amI love the serum and I also find the dispenser hard to work with. first I couldn’t fit it in the bottle and second it don’t pick up much product.
I do love the feel of it :) and its smells like roses :)
I have to go and review all my pixi skincare :)

April 30, 2016 at 8:35 pmI recently bought the Glow Tonic but both of these sound great as well, ah there are so many more Pixi products I’d like to try out!
I think these might only work for me in winter though, when my skin is dry as a bone.

May 1, 2016 at 4:24 amPaula, I love that you include things that you like AND dislike! Gives me a good idea about the product and understanding it better! :) Just wanted to say that real quick as I feel like not enough bloggers tend to talk about their dislikes in an effort to not offend PR/brands/etc. I’ll def look into these products as I really enjoy the Glow Tonic!

May 1, 2016 at 4:47 amI’m always after something really hydrating, so thanks for these reviews. I always see Pixi in my local M&S and just never browse for too long because it’s a brand you hear so little about – only a few of their products have been mentioned before but these two products are two I’ve never read anything about, so this has really helped me gain a bit of insight into the brand! Thanks, it’s a lovely post!

May 1, 2016 at 5:37 amBoth of these products sound gorgeous and the packaging is stunning! It’s a shame the milky serum packaging isn’t practical though – it looks like such a cute bottle :)

May 2, 2016 at 11:06 amSo so so tempted by the Hydration Gel, must see if I can get a sample from somewhere to make sure the fragrance doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin because I don’t know anywhere near me that sells Pixi products so I could test it on my skin before :) xx

May 14, 2016 at 4:36 amI don’t get on with any of the Pixi products involving glycolic, for some reason, but the H2O gel sounds all kinds of wonderful.
