I finally gave up on trying to convince myself that I should cut my hair short and decided to grow it out. I was looking for some sort of a leave-in conditioner or treatment that will prevent my hair from braking while I let it grow. Especially since summer is right around the corner (yay!) and my hair tends to turn a bit dry during the warm weather. “It’s a 10” Miracle Leave-In Product was on my amazon wishlist for a very long time and the only thing that was keeping me from buying it was the price: $18.00 for a 4 oz bottle. I finally gave in when some lady at CVS saw me reading the back of the “It’s a 10…” bottle and told me that I HAVE to try it.
“It’s a 10” claims to do 10 things instantly:
1. Repairs dry, damaged hair.
2. Adds shine.
3. Detangles.
4. Controls frizz.
5. Seals & protects hair color.
6. Prevents split ends.
7. Stops hair breakage.
8. Creates silkiness.
9. Enhances natural body.
10. Flat iron spray & thermal protector.
The product is supposed to be sprayed on and evenly distributed through towel-dry hair. So far I’ve used it a few times and have to admit that it was worth the price. Even though my hair is already pretty healthy, “It’s a 10” leaves it looking ever more smooth and shiny. I never came across a product that could get my hair to be as silky as it is now, without weighting it down. I don’t have problems with my hair being tangled or frizzy, so I can’t tell if “It’s a 10” helps with those issues as well. I do have to say that my sister, who recently went blond (you can imagine how damaged her hair is after all the bleaching) loved the way her hair felt after I used this product on her hair.
I read many reviews on this leave-in product and they’re all positive. Of course, price is probably the only downside, although few of the reviewers complained that the packaging is “ugly” or “too retro”. I honestly don’t have a slightest issue with that :) I have a feeling I’ll be running out of this product quickly, I’m not sure if it’s because I love it so much, or because I use a lot more than I’m supposed to :D This reminds of one more thing. Well, two actually: one, the packaging is really great, it’s so easy to spray the product, the dispenser doesn’t clog or leak; and two, it leaves my hair smelling absolutely amazing! This is definitely a keeper.

March 17, 2014 at 6:29 pmThis sounds great Paula :D I must admit I like how the packaging is pretty, attractive but not OTT like a lot of products, which makes a refreshing change to see.
My hair is so brittle (currently it feels a bit like straw after a blow dry :( ) so now I will be considering this for sure! <3

March 17, 2014 at 8:13 pmIt sounds like you got a really nice product on your hands here!! I saw this in the store a few weeks ago and definitely was curious about it. I think though that the price made me turn away haha, but now after reading your review, I might consider picking it up next time. I need more leave in products for my hair since I want it to be healthy again for summer… and possible another dye job haha. It’s nice to hair that the packaging is good and I also don’t find anything wrong with the way it looks.. if the product works, that is all I care about!! =)

Well done for deciding to grow your hair.. I did the mistake of chopping all my hair off and now I’m desperately trying to grow it :(
I could use this product in my life!!

March 18, 2014 at 9:27 amThat was the only thing keeping me from cutting it short: the fear that I’ll regret it later haha :) I’m at this weird stage where my hair isn’t long but it’s also not short and I was very tempted to chop it all off. Ultimately, I decided against it :)
