Few days a go I showed you guys what’s currently in my makeup up and told you just how much I love IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara* and Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil.*
The Superhero has a bit of a thick formula, so as with a lot of new mascaras, I find that I have to wipe the excess off for the first couple of weeks of use. By the way, if you find that your new mascara clumps a lot, try wiping the wand on a clean, dry paper towel- this always works for me. I come across a lot of reviews where people complain about mascaras being clumpy- most of the time when mascara is new, the formula is just a bit too “fresh” so wiping the excess off is a must if you don’t like clumpy lashes. With that being said, I love pretty much everything about this mascara. The dense wand, the very black color and the formula.
When applying this mascara it feels almost as if it “stretches” my lashes- it’s really great at elongating them and at the same time it gives them volume. The brush has a very nice shape where it “catches” every single lash. The formula is also easily build-able- as long as you don’t wait too long between coats. It also stays soft on my lashes and doesn’t flake throughout the day.
Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil is one of the best brow pencils I’ve used. The shade is just perfect and is supposed to match every hair color. It’s not too dark, not too taupe-y- it’s just perfect for me. Brow Power pencil comes with a spollie brush at the other end, which always comes in handy. I also love the fact that once I apply Brow Power, it stays on all day- it doesn’t slide all over the place or wear off. You know that I’m all for natural brows so I use light hand with this, but if you like your lashes to be more intense, you can simply use more pressure when applying the product.
Another really cool thing about Brow Power, is that IT Cosmetics has partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program and for every Brow Power pencil sold, one is donated to help women face the effects of cancer with confidence.
Before and after IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara (just one coat!) and Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil.
I’ve been using both of these products pretty much daily for the last couple of weeks and they both quickly became staples in my makeup bag. Have you tried IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara or the Brow Power Universal Eyebrow pencil?

April 19, 2016 at 10:04 amWow – your brows look amazing! They don’t look overdrawn or overdone at all. Very natural, which makes a nice change from seeing all these “on fleek” Instagram brows everywhere.

April 19, 2016 at 11:48 amI know it is not meant this way but the idea of donating eye brow pencils to cancer patients seems so… patronizing. But maybe it is just me.
Paula @ lifestylegleam.com
April 19, 2016 at 6:00 pmI know exactly what you mean Ola! Whenever I hear people wanting to donate makeup to women going through cancer, I kind of scratch my head, but then I remember when my grandma was going through chemo, losing her hair was one thing she was upset about the most and loved doing her makeup (brows including haha :) ) to feel a little better about her appearance. I definitely see your point though!
Aleksandra
April 20, 2016 at 4:14 amI am sure she did; there is nothing wrong in making oneself feel better by improving one’s appearance. I’d say it is even natural. People find their own ways to deal with sadness and pain. I just don’t like it when companies use this sadness and pain as a part of their marketing routine.
