I was never much of a meat eater, to start with. There so many possibilities with plant-based eating, it's not like eating salads all the time. I have stuffed sweet potatoes, pizza, veggie and rice bowls, sushi rolls (made with avo or cucumber), etc. I don't think my body needed any time to adapt to it. I just kept feeling better and better with each day, you start feeling less and less bloated, you have more energy and sleep better. For protein I eat beans, legumes and have them with some grains like brown rice. To be honest, the worst part is, like I said, going out or during holidays when visiting family, etc. Whenever I say "Oh I can't eat meat or I can't eat that" I always get the "you're so skinny you shouldn't be dieting, just eat something" but it's not about losing weight at all. it's about the fact that I don't want to be up all night dying of heartburn or upset stomach haha ;) I'd say that dealing with that is the most difficult part of a plant-based diet. :)

Haha :) I think with oats you need to know how to dress them up a little if you don't like them plain. They're great for baking or making healthier cookies, treats, etc. I love adding some cacao and fruit to my oats- add some vanilla milk some nuts or granola for a little crunchiness- soo good!
