“What are you wearing? Where is the dress I left out for you on your bed!?“ When we were little, my mom loved dressing me and my sister in matching outfits. I had a closet-full of big, puffy dresses and skirts in every single color and pattern you can imagine. Unfortunately, I hated wearing dresses. My mom’s eyes would sometimes fill with tears of joy after she was done dressing me and telling me “my princess, look how beautiful you look!” I’d take one look in the mirror, while also trying to flatten my dress and say: “nope. I’ll take those overalls, thank you“. Funny thing, I eventually did fall in love with wearing dresses. The only problem was that I started wearing them over jeans in the early 2000’s…. my mom wasn’t very impressed. I still remember the days when I hid an entire closet-full of clothes in the basement, and would change after leaving for school. All unbeknownst to my mom, of course. Ah… the good old times. Well, I can easily say that as an adult, I completely approve of wearing both dresses and skirts- especially during spring. As I’m writing this, I’m looking out the window and the […]

Alright, summer is officially here!! Are you excited??? I am! THAT’s RIGHT- the girl who doesn’t like being out in the sun and never goes to the beach, is excited for summer!! Why, you ask? Ahh let’s see… longer, brighter days (umm yes, this is a heaven-sent for us bloggers, I love that I can take my blog photos as late as 5pm!) warm evenings spent outdoors, dining outside, opened sunroof, occasional rain storm here and there that leaves everything looking brighter and more alive, spending my Saturdays poolside and catching up on my magazine-reading, falling asleep with the windows opened… there’s just so much to love about summer. Also: fun accessories. I’ve been crazy about chokers; like this faux leather choker (1) and this velvet one. Also loving: this vegan leather wrap necklace (4), this red leather bolo (14) and this gold plaque choker. If you’re not really into chokers you can try tying a light scarf (5) around your neck- I’ve seen so many of my favorite bloggers rock this trend. Speaking of jewelry, you guys always ask me where I get my little, gold midi rings that you see a lot in my pictures and I always buy them from the same […]

It’s been a while since we’ve had an outfit post, here on the blog, hasn’t it? We meant to take some outfit pictures a while ago, but the weather just wouldn’t cooperate. It rained every.single.weekend for three weeks straight. Now, as I’m typing this, we’re fighting a massive heatwave (the Rosé and chilled watermelon are helping, thank you very much) but just two weeks ago I was freezing while taking these pictures on a Sunday morning. Good news is, it looks like summer is already here- and trust me, I’m not complaining. I showed you this Express jacket in this post and I have to say that I wish I could wear it every single day. It’s lightweight, comfy and I love the color- which is big of me to say, because my favorite colors when it comes to clothing include black and ….. that’s about it. I wore it with jeans, dresses, skirts and it just seems to work with everything- you can find it at 40% off now right here. It’s perfect for those cool mornings or evenings- and as someone who is constantly cold, cute moto jackets are a bit of a staple in my wardrobe. My […]

I am so glad that November is finally here! October was definitely a bit of a crazy, busy month for me. During first couple of weeks of October things have been a little hectic at work, then I got sick for about a week, which is never fun. I also fell out of my workout routine because of getting sick and everything, so one of the things that I’m really looking forward to this month, is getting back in shape! It’s crazy how just two weeks of little rest have affected me; I definitely feel like my energy levels aren’t as high as they usually are. I’m really looking forward to getting into my routine, starting today! So.. onto today’s outfit post. You’ve probably noticed that I started posting these more often and I’m really curious to see if I’ll be able to keep this up during winter. I don’t know about you, but winter is when I kinda do whatever it takes to stay warm and I doubt that me wearing a jacket that resembles a sleeping bag is too cute of an outfit. Although I do love a good challenge, so we’ll see! On those really cold […]
