I felt the same way before finally giving it a try. Perhaps you can get your hands on a sample first? It is the kind of product that gives pretty much immediate results so it'd give an idea whether it's worth the splurge or not.

:D :D Oh man, sorry to hear that! The Glow Tonic is a MUCH gentler option- if you end up trying it I definitely recommend patch-testing first around your chin and waiting 24 hours.

I really want to try Sunday Riley's Good Genes for the longest time but the price deters me. Ugh, maybe I should just bite the bullet. LOL!

The LSD reference ahaha, if I could insert the laugh cry emoji here I would. My skin reacted really badly to the Dr Dennis Gross peels but I think I might have more luck with the pixi glow tonic. It's just ever since that bad reaction I'm too freaked to try another acid out!

It's a bit of a trial and error, for sure, but starting with a low concentration and something on the gentle side is the way to go.
