Just like every other year around this time, I cannot believe that we are entering a new one, only in a few short days. 2014 was a great year, full of major changes and happy moments, but I’m ready to say goodbye, ready to welcome even better things and even happier moments in 2015.
Today I decided to have a little recap of my most popular posts published in 2014. My passion for blogging grew even stronger this past year. I started blogging on a much more regular basis, met some amazing people and even got to work with one of my favorite brands: Asos.
One of my personal favorite posts this year was the “5 Things to Tell Yourself When Feeling Down” post. I’ve received so many lovely comments and messages after publishing it, and I have to say that it felt pretty awesome to have written something that so many of you found helpful!
As Lifestyle Gleam celebrated its second birthday back in September, I held a Photography-themed week, which turned out to be quite a success. I always get asked in emails, Instagram and blog comments from other bloggers about my photography setup, equipment, etc. and because my photography posts were so well received, I’ve decided to make Photography a permanent category on the blog.
Background Ideas for Product Photography
This year I also finally worked up some courage to shoot some OOTD posts. Even though I only published two, I’m still very happy about that as It was something that I’ve always wanted to do. I had so much fun working on these, I can assure you that you’ll be seeing a lot more fashion and style related posts on the blog this coming year.
Here are few of my most popular beauty-related posts:
What’s in my bag: beauty essentials.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
NYX Cosmetics: Wonder Pencil & Lip Primer
L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara Review
Some of my most popular recipe posts included Hot Carob Recipe (great alternative to hot chocolate), Quinoa with Roasted Veggies, Triple Berry Smoothie, Coconut Flour Banana Pancakes and Cucumber Infused Water.
What type of posts are your favorite?

December 30, 2014 at 5:27 pmThe high quality content you provide makes me amazed and interested in each post, every time. Your commitment to blogging has inspired me and I am sure will continue to do so in 2015. I am so glad you have made Photography a permanent feature, your posts are super helpful, and have tips that will stay with me forever! Photos of products in front of a screen – who would’ve thought of that? Such great material has come from that, I cannot thank you enough!
My favourite types of posts are the healthy foods/recipes, the beauty buys and of course, the photography. But to be completely honest, I love all your posts, Paula – you are such a genuine, lovely person which is portrayed through your content! Thank You, and wishing you a great year ahead!

January 4, 2015 at 12:09 pmBeyond proud of you Paula! 2014 was without a doubt THE year that TT (already soaring) rocketed into space and settled in the sky, taking pride of place with all the other glittering stars. Quite rightly so too, you work so tirelessly hard on your beautiful blog which each and every post proves. The time, effort and dedication you put in pays off by millions every time you hit “publish”. Never forget that <3
I couldn't be happier you did two killer OOTD posts, rockin' Zara like a queen and looking so very dreamy in denim. I can't wait for more style and fashion related posts in 2015, you know I'm in love your style hehe. And don't get me started on your amazing photography week. You taught so many of us so much and inspired a ton load of bloggers, we all love, admire and respect you tremendously. Just killin' it basically with all your stunning shots and true talent.
You have such an incredible craft of making magic in whatever category you cover, be it recipes, lifestyle, beauty, reviews, fashion, girl talk. You name it ;)
Couldn't be happier that we met last year Paula. I am lucky and beyond blessed to call you a friend. Thank you to the moon and back for everything.
Love you with all my heart!
